![]() The devs upon announcing the last DLC for Civilization VI seemed to comment that this would be the final DLC for the title for this season. What’s more, is that PotatoMcWhiskey in one of his breakdown videos talked about a specific mention of the game’s DLC content by the developers. It’s easy to conclude how this simply doesn’t leave any room for further improvisation, but here we are, contemplating a new Civ 6 leak. Popular Civ YouTuber PotataMcWhiskey uploaded the following video on his channel where he talked about how Civilization VI’s development has come to a close. ![]() It’s certainly time to keep track of the official Civilization Twitter handle to be in the know of things moving forward.Ĭoncerned Redditors have been taken aback by the reveal though. To everyone’s shock, the Leader Pass DLC hasn’t been out in the open before, so it’s natural for any of us to assume that more content is planned for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI soon. The following was posted on the Civilization subreddit, with the original poster primarily asking whether this is something that’s already known, or perhaps, a pleasant new surprise. The credit here goes to Redditor zegalsp for spotting the leak in the first place. While this still could mean nothing substantial, considering how people love playing pranks and getting back at each other, the appearance of the Leader Pass DLC in such typical Civilization fashion does definitely get fans’ hopes up. In addition, the leak was only visible on the mobile version of the site and not the desktop. The image was live on the Civilization website for numerous hours until it got taken down. The leak showcases some “ Leader Pass” DLC that evidently exhibits the introduction of more historical characters like Abraham Lincoln, Queen Nzinga of Ndongo and Matamba, and possibly Elizabeth 1 as well to Civilization VI.The game has had no update come out for it in the last year or so, but a recent leak on the official Civilization website shows that more content is still planned to make landfall for Civilization VI.The title was released in 2016 and has been developed by Marvel’s Midnight Suns creator Firaxis Games with 2K Games helming the publishing end of the spectrum. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is the sixth major installment in the Civilization series, featuring turn-based combat and strategy mechanics. With that said, one eagle-eyed Redditor has managed to grab a screenshot of the DLC’s appearance, thereby proving that content is coming for Civilization VI. The leak has since been taken off the site, and you can no longer view the Leader Pass entry there, unfortunately. The listing only showed the graphic and wasn’t even clickable. Apparently, a new DLC called Leader Pass appeared on the game’s website, showcasing more forthcoming characters. The game hasn’t received more expansions since last year, but a leak on the official Civilization website is looking to change that.
